Course Overview
This course provides an introduction and deep dive into common administration topics to get you underway in Active Workspace. Explore Access Manager to setup rules based permissions, explore Preference values and overrides, learn how to build and edit Workflows using Workflow Designer, create and edit Table Columns using utilities, control Tiles for specific groups and roles to control on the Home page in Active Workspace, explore Stylesheets and how to create, edit and register them to the Active Workspace user interface and much more. This course provides training on administering preferences in the Active Workspace Client (AWC). The course provides a deep dive into the Preferences location in the client, user inter Duration: ~ 20 hours of video demonstrations Version Recorded at: This course is recorded at version Teamcenter 13.* and Active Workspace 5.* versions. Most topics are compatible with Active Workspace versions 4.3+, 5+ and 6+. It is recommended that students have a rudimentary understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) prior to taking the course. It is recommended to have knowledge of the following topics prior to taking this course: 1. Using Essentials Courses 2. Business Modeler IDE (BMIDE) Essentials Courses The course is designed for all that will modify the Active Workspace Client (AWC) user interface through the use of configuration practices such as Workflows, Preferences, Organization, Tiles, Tables, and Style Sheets. Typically the students in this course have experience with the data model and administer data. Light experience with running windows based command line utilities is a plus.
