Course Overview

This course is designed to provide an introduction to for installing the Oracle Server, Database, and Listener components to support a Teamcenter environment. The content in this course covers topics including obtaining and setting up the Oracle media, installing the Oracle Server, Database with Teamcenter templates, and listener. There are also topics related to validating the installation. This course is recorded at version Teamcenter 14.2 and Active Workspace 6.2 versions. Most topics are compatible with Active Workspace versions 4.3+, 5+ and 6+. There may be small UI variations between versions. Recommended Prerequisite Course(s) All Installation Essentials related courses listed prior to this course in the Course Library. This includes: - Introduction to Teamcenter Installation - Teamcenter Installation Prerequisites - All Using Essentials related content is also recommended prior to taking this course. It is recommended that students have a rudimentary understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) prior to taking the course. It is recommended that attendees have Windows using and administration experience prior to taking this course. The course is designed for all System Administrators that are responsible for the Installation, Maintenance, Upgrade, Patching, or Deployment processes for a Teamcenter environment.
