Course Overview
This course is designed to provide an introduction installing Teamcenter 2406 using the newest installation tool; Deployment Center. The content in this course includes an introduction to Teamcenter and Active Workspace installation processes, tools used, hardware and certifications resources, downloading media, and understanding the architecture behind Teamcenter and Active Workspace. The course includes installing Rich Clients, Business Modeler IDE's, the Active Workspace Client and Server features, Microservices and the Gateway, and more! In the course, attendees get a guided demonstration on installing the prerequisite software for Teamcenter including Databases, Licensing software, 3rd party recommended tools. The course then proceeds into Deployment Center concepts, installing Deployment Center and building an environment. Attendees will learn how to deploy the environment using Deployment Center utilities and explore common errors and troubleshooting techniques along the way. The instructor will create scenarios and troubleshoot them in the demonstration and perform maintenance activities such as updating an environment with changes to the original install. This course is recorded at version Teamcenter 2406, though most concepts and techniques are applicable to all versions of Teamcenter and Active Workspace Deployed with Deployment Center after Teamcenter 12.3 with Active Workspace 4.3. Duration: ~ 5 Hours and 30 Minutes of video demonstrations. Reference material may add a significant amount of time to this duration. Recommended Prerequisite Course(s) It is recommended that students have Windows administration experience prior to attending. The course is designed for System Administrators with the intent on learning how to install their 1st Teamcenter and Active Workspace environment using Deployment Center.
